Privacy Policy · Last updated: February 21, 2026

Introduction

Zingle is an AI-powered dating simulation application developed by Nebulixlabz. Zingle allows users to interact with virtual AI characters through conversational AI powered by Groq's large language models. Zingle is built with a privacy-first architecture. We do not operate any servers. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of your personal information. All user data resides exclusively on your device.

Information We Collect

When you use Zingle, the following information is created and stored locally on your device only:

  • Display Name — The name you choose for personalizing conversations
  • Profile Picture — A photo from your gallery or our in-app images
  • Groq API Key — Your personal key for authenticating with Groq's AI services
  • Chat Conversations — All messages you exchange with AI characters
  • Custom Characters — AI characters you create, including names, personalities, and settings
  • App Preferences — Theme, selected AI model, conversation mode, and onboarding status

Information We Do NOT Collect

Zingle does not contain any of the following:

  • No analytics or usage tracking tools
  • No crash reporting services
  • No advertising SDKs or ad networks
  • No user fingerprinting or device identification
  • No location tracking or geolocation services
  • No background data collection of any kind
  • No cookies, web beacons, or pixel trackers

How Your Information Is Used

All locally stored information is used solely to:

  • Enable core app functionality — chatting with AI characters using Groq's API
  • Personalize your experience — display your name and picture in conversations
  • Save your preferences — remember theme, AI model, and conversation mode
  • Maintain conversation history — continue chats where you left off
  • Authenticate with Groq — send your API key with requests to generate AI responses

Data Flow & Architecture

When you send a message, your chat text, Groq API key, the AI character's system prompt, and recent conversation history are sent via HTTPS to Groq's API. Groq returns the AI response over HTTPS. Your display name, profile picture, preferences, and custom character configs never leave your device.

Data Storage & Security

All personal data is stored locally on your Android device using SharedPreferences and local storage, sandboxed within the Zingle app.

  • Android encrypts SharedPreferences on devices running Android 6.0+
  • Android's security model isolates Zingle's data from other apps
  • All communication with Groq's API is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS
  • No server infrastructure — eliminating risk of server-side breaches
  • Your Groq API key is obscured in the app UI (not shown in plain text)

Third-Party Services — Groq

Zingle uses Groq as its AI inference provider. When you chat with an AI character, messages are sent to Groq's API servers for processing. Groq is an independent third-party service — we do not control how they process or store data sent to their API. We strongly recommend reviewing Groq's privacy policy. No other third-party services are integrated — no ad networks, analytics, social SDKs, crash reporting, cloud storage, or push notification services.

App Permissions

Zingle requests the absolute minimum permissions needed to function:

  • INTERNET — Required to communicate with Groq's API for AI chat messages
  • Photo/Gallery Access — To select a profile picture from your gallery via Android's image picker

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with any third parties. Chat messages are sent to Groq's API solely to generate AI responses. We categorically do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies.

Your Privacy Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have immediate and complete access at all times. You can delete your data by:

  • Using the "Clear Chat" feature within any conversation
  • Clearing app data via Android Settings > Apps > Zingle > Clear Data
  • Uninstalling the app (permanently removes all locally stored data)

Children's Privacy

Zingle is strictly intended for users aged 17 years and older. This app is NOT designed for, directed at, or intended to be used by children. The age restriction exists due to dating/romance simulation content, AI-generated conversations that may include mature themes, and the requirement to manage third-party API credentials.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app features, legal requirements, or data practices. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Continued use of Zingle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
