ChainFit

Introduction

ChainFit is a fitness habit tracking application developed by Nebulixlabz. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use ChainFit. By using ChainFit, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Data Stored Locally

ChainFit stores all user data exclusively on your device using local storage. This includes:

• Workout logs (name, type, duration, exercises, sets, reps, weight)
• User profile (level, XP, streak data, earned badges, avatar selection)
• Body weight entries
• Workout routines and daily goals
• Chat conversations with the AI trainer
• App preferences (theme, notification settings, sound/haptic toggles)

Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not have servers. We do not collect analytics. We do not track you. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Personal identity information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Health data from other apps or services

Third-Party Services — Google Gemini API

ChainFit includes an optional AI coaching feature powered by Google's Gemini API. This feature is entirely opt-in and requires you to provide your own API key. If you use the AI coach, your chat messages, fitness context, and any attached images are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Your API key is stored locally on your device. Google's own Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms apply. If you do not configure an API key, no data is ever sent to any external service.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored locally using encrypted-at-rest device storage. There is no cloud sync, no remote backups, and no server-side storage. Your Gemini API key is stored locally and never shared with us. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data.

Data Export & Deletion

You can export your workout data in CSV or JSON format at any time through Settings. To delete all your data, simply uninstall the app — since everything is stored locally, uninstalling removes all data permanently.

Permissions

ChainFit requests the following device permissions:

• Internet — Required only for the optional AI coach (Gemini API) and loading fonts
• Notifications — For daily workout reminders (optional)
• Camera — To attach photos in AI coach conversations (optional)
• Vibration — For haptic feedback on interactions

Children's Privacy

ChainFit is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of ChainFit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
